MARCs services at the Inpatient Treatment Centre are primarily utilised by youth who come from difficult socio-economic backgrounds where financial challenges are a barrier to them taking part in treatment. Addiction treatment services are very costly and runs into thousands per month at private treatment centres. The Centre provides these youth with an opportunity to access treatment services at a very low cost or without charge depending on the circumstances. If this service was not available, these young people would slip deeper into addiction without any hope of making a change for their future. Donating towards the Inpatient Treatment Services helps us to be able to give each of these young people an opportunity to make a change and become productive members of society.
The Outpatient Centre is usually the first point of contact for individuals facing challenges with substance use disorders. The services at the Outpatient Centre are rendered to people at different stages in addiction ranging from those experimenting to those with a sever substance use disorder. Those who are experimenting or experiencing a mild to moderate substance use disorder can benefit from taking part in the Outpatient treatment services which will help to prevent them from progressing to a Severe Substance use disorder. The Outpatient services are rendered by qualified professionals rendering services of a high standard with limited resources. As with Inpatient services most of the Outpatient services users are unable to pay for treatment services so we rely on donations and sponsorships to be able to keep our doors open and continue rendering these services. We need your help to continue rendering the high-quality services that every individual deserves when they walk through the door. A service that strives to change lives for the better and to help people become an assertive productive member of society.
These services are provided to create awareness on the dangers and consequences of Drug and Alcohol use before it starts so that people will be able to make informed choices when faced with the decision of whether to start using or not. It also focuses on promoting Early Intervention services as people who have just started using are educated on the dangers of drug use and seek services to stop themselves from going deeper into drug use. We are active in Creches, Primary Schools and Secondary Schools as well as the Community. Donating towards these activities will help us to be able to reach out to the wider Community.
